In 1942, Mr. Yew Yin Fong, JP established Nan Yuan Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. Under his effort, the company expanded to different types of industry such as trading, tourism, personal care, and more. One of the famous products that the Nan Yuan produced was the “Yin Fong” skin care products, the first ever brand to carry a Chinese name in Malaysia.
Mr. Yew Mui Leong, JP, Yew Yin Fong’s son and Nan Yuan’s second chairman, exported the famous “YINFONG” products from Malaysia to China. During the product entry, YINFONG products created a huge awareness in China and instantly became the most popular cosmetic product in the market. Subsequently, the moisture lotion and F-pearl cream, two of YINFONG skin care products, achieved many awards and became the classic products of the company.
YINFONG was the first company in China to propose using pearls as the main raw material for production. In 1995, YINFONG was awarded the prestigious “Exclusive Appointed Skin Care Product” in the Fourth World Conference on Women of the United Nations.
Yew Mui Leong, JP believed happiness should be prioritized before profit. He had donated more than 100 million RMB in assorted charities in China. In 2003, the YINFONG’s new operating plant was built. In 2004, “ Rosebell ”, a brand that is focused on babies, was created. In 2006, YINFONG’s rose logo was changed to a diamond logo.At the same time; “Everflore” became the English name for YINFONG.
